happy chinese new year

such a hellish day in school with a physics test (where i even forgot what convection means) and english public speaking (speaking in front of the class, so there goes my "stiffness")...
the only highlight was probably the lion dance. at times, rather perverted (it flirted with ms janice!) but also funny :)
then, the renewal of my passport... let's just say the region under my eyes were really dark and though i was sure i put on a happy face, i looked glum. unhappy. see that's why teachers complain that i don't smile while presenting. because for it to be visible, i have to BEAM.
and finally, dinner time!!! mum had a feast laid across the table! very unexpected. yum yum.
she also bought flowers to decorate our home!
and we hung the two plants (whatever they're called) with those... red thingies.
we still have tiny lanterns with lights in them but don't know where to put them. suggestions?
guess what was on tv! :D
so maybe the next time i blog there'll be pictures of money :)
