I know I haven't updated for quite a while now. Hey! I'm busy with school ya know. Work load is hell! And I have more now coz I failed one quiz in one class. =p and then quarter final is approaching which means I'm gonna get busier because... well you know the word "final". But anyway, thanks for keeping this blog kinda alive, Suzie. So here goes my update...
Remember that post when I said I was down ladida, I got hurt bladebla? If you didn't read it then poor you because for some reason this layout doesn't show that archive thingy that blogs are supposed to have. But anyway, yea so I was hurt kinda badly. Then I went to central park the next day to see some greeneries to calm myself down. As I arrived at central park, I had quite a disappointment. Trees were bald! Horse poo everywhere! And it wasn't as big as I remembered. Central Park... But I took some photos with my phone. That was a short tour to Central Park. Still quite pretty isn't it? =)
Last Monday, 18th February, was a public holiday for us. President's Day. Whatever that is. Well, I took a break from being home lol. And my roommate and I decided to go to Woodbury Common which is an outlet located in New Jersey. We have been planning this for a month and just got the time last Monday.
So.. We got up amazingly at 7 o'clock with a couple of snoozes to the alarm clock. =p but we made it! We left home at 8. And got to port authority (it's where we catch the bus) at around 9. Took the bus at 9:30. A little wait but that's ok. And off we go!!!!
Through the highway we can pretty much see a broader view of Manhattan which is uuuuugleh! Monotonously brown! The buildings. The trees. The road. All brown...
As we drove passed New York, the view slightly changed. No more high rise buildings. A lot of stones and beautiful frozen waterfall on the snow, and mist too. It was like in the movie Narnia. That's how I saw it.
Well, we arrived at Woodbury at around 10:30-ish and started our journey there; hopping from one store to another. It came to our disappointment that Woodbury, isn't the Woodbury we expected it to be. It's not an outlet we've been dreaming about. They sell simple basic common stuff that you can even find them in New York City itself. People thought it would be cheaper. But oh no people! Remember the $39 ticket we had to buy before. So more or less the price is the same.
Enough about Woodbury! That was a very disappointing Monday.
Now... Let's move on to what I had for lunch, shall we? ^^
See that amazing picture? =) Yeap! That was my lunch. Rice with unagi (fried eel) and fried calamari. I don't really remember how they taste like. =p can't really describe it. But I'm gonna have it for lunch tomorrow too. Coz I didn't finish them. But you can tell by the image that they're awesome right?
