cultural night

i actually enjoyed cultural night. shocking. not so much of a fan of the nasa cup (although we won a nerve-racking, breathtaking game, i didn't play). or the fun fair (i left everyone and everyone left me). seriously, the fun fair's the worst we've ever had. and i didn't use any of my rp.30 000 non-refundable coupon.
so back to cultural night, the school called some pro's to perform traditional dances or sing (don't know how many times i've described the event in ms vanda's assignments).
we were suppposed to wear batik but i didn't :P well i tried on my little brother's (yes, it fits) when i was half asleep and thought yea yea that will do. but when i was wide awake then i realised how awful it looked! a lot wore normal clothing anyway.
ratna was the only one who wore a chongsam!! well they did say we were allowed but no one else did! her outfit was very... oriental... with her hair tied up in a bun and all. oh, a certain person laughed on seeing her. bad person.
i would loove to post her picture but can't because:
- the memory card reader has disappeared
- her pose in the picture was kinda... inappropriate (for lack of better word)
of course, angela and the gang danced, mixing traditional dances with hip hop (yay). we also learnt to play the angklung (well actually, who doesn't know how to play it).
each student was given a small one (like the picture on the left, not the big one). so everyone had different notes basically. and there goes an angklung school choir!!! we played songs like "falling in love with you" and one josh groban one, ending with "we are the champions'. me and bern got the 7th note - which is b btw - and we were sort of annoyed 'cuz it didn't come out all that often!! but it was fun!!!
but the last part spoiled it all. yes, very creative and humorous idea of having ibu temu appear on a becak (lol) but dang that woman sang and danced so much. actually, too much. and i don't even know what the lyrics mean 'cuz as far as i'm concerned, she only went like "aaaaaaaaeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeuuuuuuuuueee
eeeeeeeeeeee" in that weird high-pitched traditional voice.
then ratna slept over. she didn't want to sleep on the bunk bed!!! no more acurately, she INSISTED on sleeping on the SAME BED. that was how scared she was. oh happy birthday to her btw. we stayed up till 12 calling that person-who-laughed-on-seeing-her-outfit and it seems like my name has now changed to "susanti". how terrible. no offense to all the susantis out there.

WE FINALLY BOUGHT A DOG CAGE. kinda big, white, normal-looking (that wiry box. no, i couln't get my wonderful beautiful truly miraculous wooden kennel). and i can't take a picture and post it here because:
- memory card reader disappeared
- it's unpacked
- there's no dog, it looks bad and unimportant
and now my mum's friend is offering a chihuahua so i am CONFUSED!!!!!!!!!!!! yes, i have fallen in love with kelly but my mum keeps pushing it that she's a street dog and all (which really doesn't matter). so i'll probably meet the chihuahua first before deciding. or if it takes too long to set up a meeting (most likely to happen) i'll just take kelly! done.
so really sorry that there's only one picture (plus pictures of sophia in totally irrelevant + random places) in this post, but again:
- memory card reader disappeared
and i have so much homework but no will at all to do it and it's already 4.30!!!
