the worst lost case scenario ever. really annoying how one simple wrong turn can get you that far!!! today, i took the F train instead of the usual E train. and ended up in 6th avenue (instead of 8th).
I ASKED. phoned my sister. and followed her directions!!! "mcD to plant seller, and walk straaaaight, no turns" so i did. like hell i walked straight. on and on and on without stopping. until it's like... hey wait a minute... why am i not there yet???
like doood!!! i walked from 28th street to 12th street!!!! like..... *mental calculation* 16 blocks!!! O.o o wow. with my small converse too. that. was. hell.
so another phone call. and she told me to GO BACK TO 28TH. by then i was already walking reaaally slowly. almost hobbling.
quick note: hate the fact that mcD is around every corner. confuses my directions!!!
so by then, i'd walked for a total of *mental calculation* 32 blocks!!!
AND THEEEN i found out the reason why i was lost. the wrong flower seller. the one she meant was a row full of flower sellers. which i didn't know about as it was around the corner. by the time i reached the work place, i was an hour late =.=
i'm sick of work by the way. working mon-fri 7 am-7 pm (or hopefully 1 or 2 hours earlier). leaves me so tired i do nothing but take a bath, eat, zonk off when i reach home. that's a waste of day!!! and remind me not to go online while working. got reaaally confused.

ladies and gentlemen, it is our famous carpet-as-grass. i know. it looks so frikin fake. like a playground display in IKEA.
BY THE WAY, speaking of ikea, i just found out that my global warming cup (the one from that forum in singapore) is from ikea. so they just bought the cups and stuck on a BAD QUALITY sticker. i poured water on it and the sticker became...well... transparent. clear. as good as new. what is up with that???
AND AND AND. my sister!!!! BROKE. THE. CUP.
but anyways. back to my lovely house.

turn it to the left, water comes out. turn it more to the left, water becomes warmer. don't know why but i like it =D not your usual push-and-pull kind.
