animal story!!! how many of you have seen a... green polar bear???
ok it looked much greener in the computer in my work place :S (i took and uploaded the pictures at work)
when i read the title i was expecting something muucchh greener though. like.. green from head to toe. this one looks like it just rolled out of a puddle of... green mud? or something.
so this is apparently caused by the algae in their pond multiplying, since the zoo is trying to conserve water.
but seriously it doesn't look green at all from this monitor :S
well this news didn't run today, 'cause it was too old. someone saw it running elsewhere in the beginning of the week. too baaddd. i love the animal stories!! they're the only ones worth watching XD i hate all those serious politics whatever.
another one that did run though, was about some sick guy bashing up kangaroos. they actually caught him punching a kangaroo in a video. yep, we've all heard of gay bashers, now apparently there's a kangaroo basher too. omg poor kangarooooo!!!
we almost didn't run the news, 'cause one person thought it was too violent, and you can actually hear the guy laughing in the background. and we had to reedit the video, lowering the volume at the end 'coz the guy was laughing. it wouldn't give a good impression if we ended the news package with the guy cackling away while hitting the poor thing.

so i ended up reading xiaxue's old posts while waiting for the vids to finish =.= there was like an entry where she complained about an indonesian resort. and even wrote letters of complaints to them! the language was sooo not like what we were taught. all those formal letters and stuff. and she has the capability! but i swear the hotel's replies were just.... plain... dumb. and uninformative =.= that's indonesia for you. oh suuuure fancy fancy formal english. but it didn't really answer anything. just gonna make the sender angrier. stupid.
when i left there was like... 6 more vids to go!!! and it was already 5!!! but jess (the person in charge today) said i could go :P she'd finish everything up. you can't help but love jess =D
and today's subway was CROWDEDDD!!! both morning and evening. in the morning there were like.... 9 hands holding on to one.. what do you call that. pole? hand rail? whatever. you know that metal pole sticking out in the middle of the train.
and in the evening, i was going to grab the nearest pole when i saw that some stupid guy was HUGGING it. like wrap his whole hands, arms, big belly, and his everything around it. why in the world would you hug a friggin pole?!??!? when the train's crowded?!?!?! dooooodddd!!! get some sense into that head!!!
