i flipped the page...
and snapped the thick book shut, a smile on my face.
all four books finished!!!!! *cheers* each in 2 days. must be my record time o.o i mean each novel is like 500-800 pages long!!! but with no boring beginnings, unlike harry potter =.= i can still remember the endless descriptions of flower pots in hp 5. *shivers*
but why in the world aren't they selling the 3rd and 4th book in paperback??? :S first of all, it's cheaper; second, hard covers are a nuisance. sure they look cool and all that, but those flimsy covers wrapping the cardboard get damaged so easily.
so yes i stripped them while reading. strrriiiipped. in order to preserve my babies <3

of course, it's not the 1st of october yet here in nyc, but since the person's in indo...
i was chatting in one window with him, chu and ratna (she finally got her internet back!!!!!!).

a moment later, we realised that wesley's pm had changed to: Sammy, my big boy, don't forget your pom-poms and mini-skirt tomorrow
loolll!!!! XD don't get mad, sam. think of it as a... pre-birthday gift =D heeyyy we all had the decency to have your majestic name on all our pm's!!!! and i just realised lele did the pom2 mini skirt thing too =p
theeeennn a few minutes before 12.00 am indonesian time, all of them went off. i was like what the hell!?!?!?!? are they playing with me?!?!?!?
when i told my sister this, she was like: mati lampu satu jakarta kali. (translation: maybe the whole jakarta's having a black out) which.... sorta... made sense... to be honest. we're not exactly known for having stable electricity.
but apparently, according to chu (who managed to stay online a few hours later), everyone's internet died down. probably the whole jakarta/indonesia. but how in the world can that happen!?!?!??!? or maybe they're all using the same provider?
but well, for now, let us all start thinking positive!!!
everyday i've been complaining that i want to go home. eeevery single day. my parents and chat friends must be bored of the word "home" by now =p but hey!!! i did try to reduce my morbidness!
my way of thinking:
- a week ago - 1 week, boston, parents come, 2 weeks, HOME!!!!
- few days ago - 9 work days, HOME!!!!
- today - NEXT WEEK!!!!
okay so the next week means next sunday, which is really... the absolute end of next week, but it friggin HELPS!!!!! my parents will reach nyc this midnight. let's hope they'll take me out in the day time so i can uh... skip work? XD due to lack of a better word.
