it's been extremely popular and hyped-up, but is it really as good as they say?
from the cover, i thought it was just another morbid story, which is probably why i rejected my sister's offer of buying them for me.
but here, i tried buying the first book. results?
finished in TWO DAYS (i stayed up!!). that bloody thick book!!! letsee... *checks* 498 pagesssss. well that's funny why not make it 500. oh well =p
so it's about a girl falling in love with a vampire (an extremely hot vampire at that). and if you love vampire knight, then i think you'll love this too XD well i don't know about guys and their tastes. it does seem a bit... girlish? with all the romance and all. but hey! my brother likes vampire knight!! but well... he's a hardcore otaku so let's not take that opinion into account.
and so anyways! all eager and excited, i bought the 2nd book and i must say...
I AM A FAN.
finished it in 2 days also and yes i'm all crazy about it now and can't wait to buy the third and fourth!!!!
AND THE MOVIE'S COMING OUT!!!

but like when the hell is it gonna come out in indonesia?!?!?!? some say it hasn't even been decided yet. in other countries, it's coming out in... november 21st i think, and december in singapore.
hello? anyone thought of indonesia??? people tried contacting cinema 21 and blitz, but no news so far. well knowing indonesia, it'll probably be released later than the others, but oh please!!!! nooo!!!! even harry potter and the dark knight were released on the same day!!! why not twilight???
an indonesian twilight forum made an online petition about that, and i've signed it!!! XD let's hope it does SOMETHING. some say online petitions are useless :(

i also watched the trailer. no, normally i don't watch trailers due to spoilers, but since i read the book anyway i thought oh what the hell. and i. am. absolutely. satisfied.
unlike harry potter which was a MAJOR disappointment compared to the novel. this one seems... perfect. friggin cooool!!!!! XD CANNOT WAAAIT. need to put it on my wish list!

wat is wrong with the designer!?!???! is it just me or does that look friggin bad?!?!!? @_@ i absolutely HATE IT. well i read some comments on websites and apparently quite a lot do like it (which left me astounded) but personally i've always hated indonesia's design of covers =.= you know the one's they design for english books they translate.
all in all i prefer the international cover =p (the one at the beginning of the post) I HAVE THAT ONE!!!! XD and imma buy the 3rd and 4th book next week and bring them aaaall home 3 weeks later =D you can ask to borrow if you want but if i see the sliiightest damage.... >=) i am extremely particular about my books. which is why i still have a huge grudge towards those two cousins who spoiled tons of my comics. #%^#$!$!
and they should start selling english novels in gramedia!!! well maybe most of the people who go there could care less but.... whenever i see a novel that looks intresting, pick it up, uh oh it's translated. idk i just dont' like reading indonesian novels :S
