and they tasted... weird. but my little brother likes them.
in other news... the GOOD EXCELLENT kind of news... i FINALLY finished the magazine!!!!!! *cheers wildly, screams in high pitch*
for those who don't know, i had to design a mini magazine for my graphic design course. so that's basically the cover, preface, contents page, plus a few pages of articles, etc.
i finished it a few minutes ago! and it's due... 3 hours later. keep in mind though that the text has nothing to do with anything. it's just randomly copy-pasted text.
yees a big big face of vina as the cover. chu had the idea for the magazine title
and i was trying to find pictures of friends to put as the editor when i thought... hey ken suits the role
i'm so not suited for this kind of stuff =.= i can never figure out what to do with the page. everything just looks wrong!
when vina stayed over for her lamp design project, she helped me with the fashion section. no, scratch that. she basically did 90% of the fashion pages. i was just instructed what and where to put stuff. and then boom. done. in such a short amount of time.
my computer doesn't have photoshop. and i needed it to erase the background of pictures. make them transparent. vina helped with the pictures of the bags. and my sister all the way in new york, on the other end of the planet, helped with the editor's signature. oh and ratna adjusted the levels for ken's photo.
pages should be facing each other. so for example, the "people" section, if printed, would look like this:
