Early Morning Rant

I find it amusing how people ask for feedback and disregard them when given. Like this place that I edit for. They told me to watch this program called wandering gourmand. It's about a person wandering around new york for restaurants. It's basically like a restaurant review kinda thing. Well not really review. Coz of course this kind of show, no matter how disgusting the food tastes, there still will be a person looking at the camera, smiling, and says, "Mmmmm... delicious."So anyway! I watched this dessert episode that some person edited. And I caught a good number of mistakes: dark footage, grainy footage, cheesy slow motion, out-of-focus shots, shaky, CAMERA REFLECTION, BOOM SHADOW, etc, etc. And so I emailed this person and pointed out the notice. And you know what he said? "What is more useful is that you come to the meeting..."So if I don't come to the meeting all my feedback are useless???????? Professionals... They said they are. Tell me... which show that you've ever ever watched has freaking CAMERA REFLECTIONS on the shots!?!?!??!?!!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!??!!? Where wherrrrrrrreeeeee???????????Oh! Oh! And from what I've noticed, since the very first day I worked there, people will always talk back when their work is criticized. SHUT THE HELL UP and accept your freaking mistakes!!!!Or maybe only this one guy. He thinks he's good. He was the cameraman. Now, this guy went to filming school mind you? So shouldn't he know what to do and what NOT to do? FREAKING CAMERA REFLECTION!!!!!!!!! Dark footage.... He said it's hard shooting at night. USE THE FREAKING LIGHTS!!!!!!!! And it's not like they don't have any. I saw they have like at least 2 huuuuuuuuge monster kits. And it's not like it's the first time they made some of the mistakes. They always freaking do!!!!! And you know what? If you're in the real filming industry, you...will....get....FIIIIIIRRRRREDDDD!!!!! But of course they don't mind. There's no point for working at this moment. The world's gonna end soooooooon... ~ReNez!~Labels: camera reflection, feedback, ugly show
