hello everyooooooneeee. today, i have decided to blog about my school (finally). i go to raffles institute of design. there's a brand new branch in jakarta (main branch is in singapore), so we are the first batch everrrrr. you know i also entered bbs when it just opened. wow.sooo raffles is in citywalk, sudirman. our school is in a mall! too bad there aren't many shops.
climb up to the 6th floor~ and look:
they said the cracks on the wall's caused by the earthquake. which, apparently, nobody else found fun and cool and interesting except me and ratna. why not???? the ground's shaking! that's very interesting. like a mild merry-go-round. i know the cracks on the wall seem pretty serious business, but at home it wasn't that deadly.

i like the toilet. it's clean. unlike the other floors in citywalk. i went into the one on the ground floor. ugh wet floor. actually, yesterday our toilet's floor was wet too. probably people washing brushes... or something. i slipped and revina fell lol.

the truth is.......
you can open the cubicle door...... from outside!
usually you'll need a coin. but this one's so much easier. let me demonstrate:
here we have a locked cubicle
with just a very simple turn...... people peeing watch out!!!
only the third cubicle is safe. the lock's different, cant be opened from the outside.
and here, tissues are actually meant to be thrown in the closet. there weren't any dustbins the first few days and i was so confused
of course we've never opened the door when someone's inside.... probably threatened just for laughs hahaha. BUT YOU KNOW WHAT. yesterday, nesia suddenly grabbed my camera. she approached the second cubicle, the one with fanny inside. then, she lifts her hands high...

thankfully, she only managed to catch her face. THANK GOD. i really don't wanna see what was going on below that.

look at the diligent students working even before class started
in front of library. i guess the area behind irene will be used for displaying. i'm imagining fashion design course's clothes there
look! our bigass raffles bag (free). because of that bag i knocked over a human-sized advert poster standing in front of a restaurant downstairs
walking down the corridors~

another class. we come here every friday for rendering class
the back is all window, no walls. i like~
so for yesterday, we had to copy a drawing by a famous artist. we were supposed to pick 3 choices and show simon. then, he'll pick 1 for us to copy. i'd already made up my mind that i don't want anything too hard (paintings are out of the question), and definitely no humans. hate drawing humans. they come out weird.
but it seems like mr simon had been waaayy ahead of us. all our choices were rejected, and he'd actually prepared choices for all of us. and they all.... contain.... humans. they're all life-like
paintings (maybe 1 or 2 isn't i'm not sure. i'm pretty sure mine is). some are life-like paintings...... of naked bodies. lol. here's what fane had to draw:
later on we realised that the thing between the man's legs are actually leaves, not an absurdly small "thing"

i think i'll skip leko for the rest of the month. i've had it so many times since i've been here!
got off school at 6 pm~ oh and those white things are models the interior design students made. somehow i always need to think for a while when i want to say "interior design". every time, "indesign" is the word that pops into my head.
