i loooove grand indonesia!!! today's the second time i've been there, this time with chu, ratna, sammy.
in the first post about GI, i posted a photo of the maze of elevators. this time, let's start with...
so gi is designed to be a mini new york city, with subway stations, china town and stuff.
okay maybe a much cleaner, much less crowded, organised and picture-book-like nyc, with cute cafes and lamp posts on either side of the streets.
imagine the romeo and juliet scene reenacted here
on the other hand, ratna (our well-known crazy friend), didn't have a coin. so she decided to throw this... paper coupon something. i'm not so sure.
my camera is awesome in daylight!!! moving objects are captured perfectly.

in dim light, though, it's.... sucky as hell. i get so frustrated. little things just become blurred.
we met in forever 21, where ratna became soooper excited at all the clothes with animal prints and just dashed here and there with chu and me tagging along behind her. i was given no money to shop =(
there were these mannequins posing with their butts sticking out.
neeext, game centre! the one with the big yellow shining twinkling NEW YORK NEW YORK.
we tasted the beautifully sensitive ddr machine
plus house of the dead and time crisis 4. i must say i prefer the 3rd. and i do look android-faced while playing these eh. never noticed. this is either my blank expression or my state of deep concentration.
there's this... fountain show that plays every hour. with the water dancing everywhere, colourful lights and music.

i was going to take a picture of the sign that says "please adjust your dress before leaving" before ratna jumped into the scene, claiming that she would be the one to blog on that.

our chu has finally installed skype!!!! for all those fans (correction: friends) who wants to add her (and her cutie doggie, miki), the name's... *checks* cl.yuki
tonight!!! we enjoyed our first... virtual reunion by the internet!!!
and here's her mother!!! come to join 3 seconds of waving fun!!!
it's a happy familyyyyyy...

me and vina went to chu's house for a study-like-hell session. and we did study!!! only like the first few chapters of everything - which i already read. but i at last managed to understand what "genus" means!!!
but of course there were distractions!!! while i was distracted, obsessed with:
miki!!!
disney!
me: take a picture! (brings out camera)
vina：noo!! don't!!! (covers face)
me: ...
vina: at least until i take off my glasses!! *swish!!!* (glasses off; SMILE)
swt...
and of course there was the food! we ate:
- ketoprak
- pempek
- fruit/strawberry cake
- popcorn
- that... fishy thing
- chicken rice
and of course plus that huge bottle of green tea and three more bottles of o2.
he climbed up by himself but just as i was about to take a picture... walked down =.= dogs just don't cooperate.
